- Multipurpose dry-cargo ship "Caspian Express
Until 2004, in practice of domestic design and construction of vessels
there wasn't inshore ships widespread in Europe, so-called coaster, with an estimated length of not more than 85 meters (without lifeboats).
- Tanker "Kirill Lavrov" has been launched
The launching and naming ceremony for
new tanker Kirill Lavrov, another ship in the series of Arctic shuttle tankers of 70,000 tonnes dwt ordered by SCF Group from the shipbuilders of St.Petersburg, took place at the Admiralty Shipyards on 18 December 2009. For the first time such unique high-tech vessels are being constructed at Russia’s shipbuilding yards. Arctic shuttle tankers have been specially designed to transport oil by sea Russia’s offshore oil fields in the Arctic.

Strategy for 2010-2015.

accepted for operation
On 2 December 2009 the fleet of SCF Group
was expanded with the delivery of SCF
Surgut, a modern high-tech large tanker of Suezmax type.
- Wärtsilä and Neste Oil sign
maintenance agreement
Wärtsilä, the marine industry's leading ship power system integrator, 11.02.2010 has signed a five-year maintenance agreement
with Finnish Neste Oil.

its Survey Database

Baltic Sea Action Summit in Helsinki today,
Nord Stream took a further concrete step in
line with its firm commitment to preserve the
Baltic Sea. Nord Stream decided to establish
a new Data and Information Fund to utilise
its extensive knowledge and survey data
for further research and preservation of the
Baltic Sea. Nord Stream will share the valu-
able knowledge which it has gathered over
several years for the purposes of preparing
and submitting the relevant documentation
in pursuit of corresponding permits for the
construction and operation of the natural gas
pipelines through the Baltic Sea.
