• "Prirazlomnaja" – the pioneer of Arctic
  First stage of building of the unique Off-shore Ice-Resistant Fixed Platform «Prirazlomnaja» finished – the stage of the enterprise manufacturing. In November MISP was transferred from the water area of Sevmash to Murmansk ship-repair plant no.35 for the final outfitting, setting and arranging works and concreting. Summing up first stage of the platform creating general director of JSC «Gasprom oil shelf» Aleksander Mandel said: «Today the platform has a high degree of making ready. Sevmash acquired the huge experience, with calculation of which he will develop further».

• The State of Russian River Fleet and Shipbuilding Prospects
  River transport is one of the most safe, energy saving and envi- ronmentally friendly mode of transport. The waterborne traffic market is growing; its profitability exceeds motor and railway transportation indices. Today, earnings of only ship operators operating in the Russian domestic waterborne traffic are about 870 mln USA dollars. The increase of transportation load highlights the special role of the vessels of mixed “river-sea” sailing type – the most effective and profitable constituent of the Russian river transport.

• Sovcomflot and United Shipbuilding Corporation signed an agreement
  Oct. 28, 2010 - SCF Group and Zvezda- DSME, the Joint Venture between OAO United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine En- gineering Co. Ltd (DSME) completed negotiations and signed agreements for the construction of a series of tankers designed for the transportation of crude oil and oil products.
• Norilsk Nickel's vessel came back from its trial voyage
  Моscow, November 16, 2010 – Monche- gorsk, the Arctic-class diesel electric vessel owned by OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel, returned from Shanghai to the port of Dudinka from its first commercial trip by the eastern part of the Northern Sea Route.
